Pride Radio is a group from the north east LGBT community who wanted to have our own voice for the Northern Pride festival...
a place for music, chat, gossip and the space to address to some serious issues.We also wanted a radio station that talked about us - when was the last time you heard a radio station give a mention to a gay girl and her partner?
Or wish someone well on the anniversary of a civil partnership?
No.
Neither had we!!
So Pride Radio was born.
